STUDENTS of St Joseph’s Convent Key Club together with their chaperone Mrs. Latoya Placide (above) attended the Caribbean-Atlantic District Convention held in Barbados last weekend.
The District Convention brings together Key Clubs in the district to discuss plans for the region, reward club achievements and to chart the way forward for the coming year.
Members from various Key Clubs also get the opportunity to gain experience, acquire new knowledge and skill in club management and meet, mingle and connect with other Key Club members from other cultures on professional and social levels..
The S.J.C. Key Club was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Amazona- St Lucia. It started in 2012, but was chartered in 2014 with Ms. Jhazmin Francis as president.
Key Club is a student-led organization which consists of students of secondary/high school age who are passionate about serving their schools and communities.
