FOLLOWING on the heels of St.Lucia Under – 16 team participation at the recently held Jean Pierre Caribbean Netball Youth Tournament in Barbados’ it will be the turn of our local netballers as the National Netball Association will serve off theInter District competition today at three venues.
The Dennery court will come alive when the home team Dennery takes on Castries, likewise Canaries will be at home to Choiseul, while Gros Islet will travel to Castries for their encounter against Castries East at the Vigie Multi-Purpose Court.
All matches will start at 6:00 p.m.
By all indications a number of under – 23 and under – 21 players currently undergoing training for selection to represent Saint Lucia at the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States Under – 23 tournament scheduled for St. Vincent and the Grenadines in July and the World Under – 21 qualifiers scheduled for Dutch St. Martin in August, will be in action.
Meanwhile, on Thursday 18 two matches are carded for the Vigie Multi-Purpose Sports Complex. From 6:00 p.m. Dennery plays Gros Islet, Castries East against Soufriere at 6:30 p.m.; while Canaries will be at home to Castries from 6:00 p.m.
