THE Mabouya Valley Football League last Sunday hosted the finals of its Knock out tournament
On centre stage Aux Lyons Utd and Survivals added another chapter in the fierce rivalry. Aux Lyons United took the lead in the 19th minute via a Wayne Theodule goal and Survivals found a late equalizer in the 78th minute courtesy a brilliant free kick from the boot of Yveslin Eugene.
With the scoreline level at 1 – 1 both teams tried their utmost in the final minutes of what had been a game filled with excitement and therefore the two teams had to turn to penalties to determine the winner.
Survivals won 4-2 in the shoot out and was then crowd champions of the knock out tournament.
