THE Babonneau Mothers and Fathers group (BMFG) are once again recipients of donated items coming from the Saint Lucia Diaspora in the US, compliments Benchmark Entertainment. This marks the fifth year of such an undertaking which commenced in 2013. The barrel of items donated includes children’s clothing, toys, books, and adult wear. Said one of Benchmark’s directors, Sheldon ‘Eggie’ Sealy, “The intent is always for the Diaspora to give back as much as they can to the needy and indigent in the community. We are proud of BMFG’s collaboration over the past few years and quite confident that their distribution will meet the needs of those most in need.”
Ms.Synthia Thomas, Secretary of the BMFG, expressed thanks to Benchmark Entertainment who have been ever supportive of the group’s work towards assisting the less fortunate in the Babonneau community. She wished them every success in their future endeavours and hoped that they continue the good work.
