ALL roads lead to Soufriere as a large crowd of football fans is expected to converge on the Mini Stadium tomorrow afternoon when the curtains will come down on the St.Lucia Football Association Inter District men’s under – 18 tournament.
From 2:00 p.m. for the third place silver ware Canaries will play Dennery, while at 4:00 p.m. Gros Islet will come up against host Soufriere in what is expected to be a keenly contested encounter.
How they made it to the finals? Soufriere came from behind to defeat Dennery 2 -1, while Gros Islet trounced Canaries 5 – 0, after the score line was 3 – 0 at the half time whistle. Both matches were played at the Gros Islet Playing Field.
