
THE Windward Islands won their second consecutive win in the Regional Under – 19 Cricket Championship on Thursday when they defeated Jamaica by 128 runs at Chedwin Park in Jamaica.
Batting first, the Windward Islands scored 227 all out in 49.2 overs with St. Lucian Dornan Edward top scoring with 61, hitting 7’4s and 2’6s from 51 deliveries.
Bowling for Jamaica, Michael Frew picked up 4 for 30, AbhijaiMansingh and Gareth Henry each took 2 for 38.
In reply Jamaica was bundled out for just 99 runs in 35.3 over; topscorere was Bard Barnes (30).

Bowling for Windward Islands fast bowler Ryan John took 4 for 16 and off spinner Gidron Pope picked up 2 for 12.
