OVER a dozen students from some of the island’s primary and secondary schools will do battle tomorrow at the National Cultural Centre (NCC) in this year’s Junior Calypso Monarch.
The students will perform in two categories: primary schools and secondary schools. The competition gets underway from 10 a.m. and organizers and students have promised another impressive year of great calypso music.
Reigning secondary school monarch, Lil Nick, of Corinth Secondary School is going for a three-peat this year.
