The St. Lucia National Cricket Association continuing its preparation for the 2015 Windward Islands Lotteries Under-19 tournament, played two more limited overs trial matches at the Gros Islet Playing Field last weekend.
On Saturday, Christian Charlery’s XI scored 196 all out in 43 overs. Nixon Edmund top scored with 48.
Bowling for Kester Charlemagne’s XI, Charlemagne himself picked up four wickets.
In reply Charlemagne’s XI made 199 for 7 in 38 overs. Vernillius Gabriel top scored with an unbeaten 53 and Denzel James scored not out 42.
In the second encounter played on Sunday, the Charley XI scored 215 in 39.3 overs.Shadrack Descartes top scored with 68.
In reply, the Charlemagne XI made 189 for 4 in 37 overs. Jard Goodman top scored with 46, Kimani Melius scored 41 and CollinusCallender 32.
