Vieux-Fort South Football League springs into action this weekend with two major activities. Today from 10:00 a.m., the League has organized a symposium for persons in the south.
According to Emmanuel Bellas, this forum is aimed at bringing together all stakeholders, past players, administrators, referees and the general public to chart a blueprint for the overall development of Vieux Fort football.
The symposium will take place at the Vieux-Fort Comprehensive School–Beanefield, formerly the Tech Voc School and an invitation is extended to the general public.
Tomorrow, the action moves to the Phillip Marcellin Grounds for the opening of the football season. This re- registration tournament will see 12 clubs, placed in two groups of 6 battling for supremacy.
The action kicks off from 5.00 p.m. with Veterans coming up against Knights and from 7:00 p.m Green Lake will play W. Mangue U.
