ST LUCIAN students who graduated this year from Universities in Taiwan were hosted to a Farewell Graduation Party by Saint Lucia Ambassador to Taiwan (R.O.C), Edwin Laurent.
After many years of hard work and perseverance, a celebration of success and achievement of the 2018 Saint Lucian graduates was in order.
On June 30th, the new ambassador of Saint Lucia in Taiwan, Edwin Laurent, was pleased to hold a Graduation Farewell Party for the island’s accomplished scholars.
Other students joined the celebration, congratulating their Saint Lucian peers on their successes and acknowledging the achievements as encouragement, motivation and a clear path to follow.
The farewell party was also a welcome of sorts, as it was also the first event held at the Saint Lucian embassy since its relocation to the diplomatic compound in Tian mu.
According to a source, “The celebration with food, drinks and music made for a delightful time for the students and the ambassador.”
The Saint Lucia embassy’s sign was also raised that same afternoon, as the students engaged in conversation and laughter.
Students posed before the logo with pride and appreciation for the new embassy, a symbol of Saint Lucia’s commitment to serving her fine citizens at home and abroad
