About one hundred Clerical and technical workers employed with FLOW will benefit from a new industrial contract negotiated between the Company and the National Workers Union (NWU).
Workers will receive a ten percent general wage increase spread over three years with point five percent (.5%) in the form of a lump sum payment over the last two years.
Employees who are exiting the company due to retirement or redundancy will continue for a period of two years after, to benefit from customary provisions, i.e. staff concessions enjoyed during their employment.
Secretary General of the NWU, Johann Harewood has disclosed that arrangements are afoot between the officials of the Department of Labour, the Company and the Union to have the agreement signed shortly.
