The 2024 Jazz and Arts Festival, one of Saint Lucia’s most anticipated events, will officially be launched on January 17.

According to the Chairman of the Festival, Thaddeus Antoine, this year the Jazz and Arts Festival will be another fantastic affair-one individuals can look forward to.

Whilst organisers have only given hints of what to expect, Saint Lucia’s Jazz and Arts Festival is known to attract some big names. (Last year’s event featured major performances from artistes like Buju Banton and Sting). This year the event will run from April 30-May 12.

Antoine noted that in 2023, “over 10,000 visitors graced our shores to enjoy the festival. We saw the return of vibrant community jazz events that helped breathe economic life into the communities, especially following the pandemic.”

“This year, we aspire to set new standards in the realms of jazz, arts and entertainment with a vision of ensuring the festival is even more sustainable, particularly in the face of the increasing costs of hosting a festival of the quality that we have done in Saint Lucia over the last 31 years,” he added.

With a rich history of music events since 1992 (The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority – SLTA noted on its website), the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival offers jazz events that attract visitors to its shores annually. Further, “with week-long events at indoor and outdoor venues”, the event celebrates international, Saint Lucian and Caribbean music.
