Midday Accident Leaves Two Injured

Two people sustained injuries following a midday vehicular accident that occurred last Tuesday on Brazil Street in Castries.

According to police, a motorcycle -- registration number PJ 9157 – and a SUV – registration number 9190 – collided on the busy city street around 12:10 pm that day.

As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist, Roger Charles aka Skooner of La Clery, Castries and a pedestrian – Jessica Charles of Trou Rouge, Castries – sustained injuries.

Police say Jessica Charles’s injuries were minor but Roger Charles was listed as being in a serious condition at Victoria Hospital.

The driver of the SUV – Innocent Cenac of Bocage, Castries – escaped unhurt.

Both vehicles received minor damage as a result of the collision, police say.
