Moesha
Placide of Corinth, a student of the Vide
Boutielle Primary, was one of the recipients.
Moesha suffers from an acute heart ailment,
which she unfortunately shares with her older
sister. For their mother, ChristabellaDorville,
providing her daughters with the needed medical
care is extremely costly and this made it
very difficult to meet the cost of Moesha’s
school supplies. The LIME team were more than
happy to respond to her request for help out
with back-to-school necessities. The other
seventeen recipients are from Boguis, Balata,
Micoud, Grande Riviere, La Clery and Dennery.
“In
these challenging times, many children miss
out on the chance for a proper education simply
because they can’t afford the essential
supplies that go hand-in-hand with learning,”
said Human Resource Partner, Danette Lambert.
“In their eagerness to help, our staff
donated generously and helped with the canvassing
around the office and wrapping of the packages.
Hopefully, this will inspire and motivate
the children and give them the confidence
they need to start the school year.”
