Digicel’s
Outreach Programme Delivers Care To St. Lucia’s
Youth
Digicel,
St. Lucia’s Bigger, Better Network continued
to deliver value and assistance to communities
with the continuation of our Community Involvement
week. The island-wide “Back-To-School
Outreach Programme” saw donations of school
supplies to several primary schools across the
island.
For
two weeks Digicel teams delivered supplies including
lunch bags, notebooks and exercise books to
various communities across the island to provide
to the less fortunate students. Excitement was
in the air amongst students, teachers and principals,
as they opened their doors and hearts to welcome
the Digicel teams into their institutions. Many
schools from the communities of the east and
west coast were beneficiaries of this massive
programme. Teams were created consisting of
Digicel team members allowing for more schools
to receive their supplies in quicker time period
for this new academic year.
