MC and Extempo King of St. Lucia, Gilroy “Ezi” Hall, said the family has decided to host a public reception at the National Cultural Centre, in the form of a concert comprising verbal tributes and performances in dance, music and song.

Performers at the tribute will include Helen Folk Dancers, Les Danseurs Traditionelle de St. Licie, St. Lucia School of Ballet, and Silver Shadow Dancers.

Hall said the featured artistes and groups were all impacted by Ma Hall’s commitment to cultural education and development and the event has received the blessings and tremendous support from the Government of St. Lucia, Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) and Helen Folk Dancers.

Ezi is the last child of the late Teresa and Alfred Hall and is also charged with the responsibility of delivering the eulogy at the funeral service.

The funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, January 3, following which the body will be buried in the family tomb at Choc Cemetery.

Family members, Government officials, the cultural fraternity and the general public will then proceed to the National Cultural Centre for the concert and refreshments.
