Earlier today Saint Lucia recorded its sixteenth homicide for 2017. Dead is forty nine (49) year old Clayton Justin of Morne Panache, Dennery.
Approximately 1p.m. today, officers attached to the Richfond Police Station received a report of a chopping incident at Morne Panache. Clayton Justin allegedly received a single slash wound to the neck during the physical altercation and was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
A post mortem is to be scheduled for a later date.
One individual is currently in custody assisting the police with investigations in this matter.
