Piton Beer Dresses Up for Creole Month

Saint Lucia’s very own international award-winning Piton Beer is heralding Creole Heritage Month with a brand new Kweyol-inspired look.

This year’s latest collector’s item from Windward and Leeward Brewery Limited (WLBL) features the island’s creole colours and flair just in time for Jounen Kweyol 2016.

“Piton is a truly Saint Lucian beer and a beverage we are all proud of as Saint Lucians. The brand celebrates with the island when it comes to significant occasions such as Independence, Carnival and now, of course, Jounen Kweyol,” explained Piton Beer Brand Manager, Sylvester Henry.

This is the first year Piton has changed its label to reflect Creole Heritage Month and the label is as vibrant and colourful as the season. The Piton bottle will be wearing its madras like the rest of us and celebrate Creole music and performers.

“It gives us great pleasure to unveil our Creole bottle and we will try to make each year unique and encapsulate various aspects of our rich culture. We wanted to highlight and capture the energy of the occasion and also inspire a sense of pride in the Creole culture. After all, Piton Sa Nou Menm!” explained Henry.

The brand continues to support many local events, groups and performers. Piton Beer also has international appeal, recently winning the Gold Award in Quality at the 2016 Monde Selection International Institute for Quality Selections.

Enjoy Piton Responsibility.
