Give Thanks

Mary-Juliana-Brice2“THANKS, thanks, we give You thanks, for all You’ve done.”

Are we all aware of that song, so that we can recognise that we have to give thanks to God for all He has done for us, and we are supposed to thank everyone for whatever they have done for us? So often persons accept what has been done for them, and yet they don’t bother to say thank you.

If we meditate on this, we will become aware of how often people refuse to give thanks for all that is taking place in their lives. When persons are given a job, do they say thank you to their Boss, or do they just accept the job? When they are paid weekly or monthly, do they give thanks for this? Is it all about them, and what they think that should be given to them because of their work, and so, no thanks? Will their Boss say thank you to them if they are working very well? Giving thanks to each other is very important.

When persons are being trained in the gym, in sports, in schools, universities, in music and anything at all, do they give thanks to those who are training them? It is almost as if the person is doing their duty, and no matter how well they have worked it out, it is all about them and their efforts, and so they never give thanks.

So often we have people who are poor or homeless, and they approach persons to give them a contribution. In some cases, when they are given something, they just accept it and don’t say thank you. In fact, they look at what has been given, and are disappointed as they think they were not given a big amount. Why are we to judge persons for whatever they have given to us? No matter how big or small, we ought to say thank you, as that person has assisted us.

Some people too are generous, and they just give without being asked. We should really be appreciative of this, and say thank you, thank you, thank you. Even if persons buy the things that they want, they should be thanked by the person who is making the sale, and so we need to hear many more thanks for all that is going on in all activities.

When persons are encountering difficulties, or they need something to be done on their behalf, they pray to the Lord for assistance. The Lord assists everyone in mysterious ways, and even if we are not aware of His assistance, we should thank Him for all He has done for us. Sometimes we recognise the service people are doing not only for us, but for others, and so we should thank The Lord for all they are doing in their life’s journey. For instance, when the hurricane Matthew did not have a terrible effect on some of us here, we had to thank God for this, especially as we saw what happened in other places and countries.

If you are impressed with your friends, or family, or strangers, send them thanks via E-mail, Whatsapp, Text, a Phone call, or just send a letter to them, giving thanks for what you have appreciated. Please do not accuse or get mad at anyone for not saying thank you, as sometimes even we ourselves forget to say thank you too. There should be no excuses for not giving thanks. Please just do it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for recognising that you ought to give thanks in every aspect of your life, thanking God first and foremost, and then thanking all others who have assisted you in any way. Merci Beaucoup!

  1. In Islam when someone does a good deed that is beneficial to us, we say to the person, “JaZak Allahu Khairun”/ May Allah reward you for your good. Although in Arab countries, many say, “Shukran”/thanks.

This is perhaps the best article you have written, and therefore I pray that Allah rewards you for your good and guide you away from polytheism; associating partners with the God/Allah.

    Surah Al-Hajj
And for every nation have We appointed a ritual, that they may mention the name of Allah over the beast of cattle that He hath given them (for food); and your God is One God, therefor surrender unto Him. And give good tidings (O Muhammad) to the humble, (34)

Whose hearts fear when Allah is mentioned, and the patient of whatever may befall them, and those who establish worship and who spend of that We have bestowed on them. (35)

And the camels! We have appointed them among the ceremonies of Allah. Therein ye have much good. So mention the name of Allah over them when they are drawn up in lines. Then when their flanks fall (dead), eat thereof and feed the beggar and the suppliant. Thus have We made them subject unto you, that haply ye may give thanks. (36)

Their flesh and their blood reach not Allah, but the devotion from you reacheth Him. Thus have We made them subject unto you that ye may magnify Allah that He hath guided you. And give good tidings (O Muhammad) to the good. (37)

Lo! Allah defendeth those who are true. Lo! Allah loveth not each treacherous ingrate. (38)

    Surah Ibrahim

Allâh is He Who has created the heavens and the earth and sends down water (rain) from the sky, and thereby brought forth fruits as provision for you; and He has made the ships to be of service to you, that they may sail through the sea by His Command; and He has made rivers (also) to be of service to you. (32)

And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you. (33)

And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allâh, never will you be able to count them. Verily! man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, – a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate, denies Allâh’s Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allâh, and by disobeying Allâh and His Prophet Muhammad SAW). (34)

  3. Surah Al-Haaqqa
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.

The Inevitable (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)! (1)
    What is the Inevitable? (2)
And what will make you know what the Inevitable is? (3)
Thamûd and ‘Ad people denied the Qâri’ah [the striking Hour (of Judgement)]! (4)
As for Thamûd, they were destroyed by the awful cry! (5)
And as for ‘Ad, they were destroyed by a furious violent wind! (6)
Which Allâh imposed on them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so that you could see men lying overthrown (destroyed), as if they were hollow trunks of date-palms! (7)
Do you see any remnants of them? (8)
And Fir’aun (Pharaoh), and those before him, and the cities overthrown [the towns of the people of [Lut (Lot)] committed sin, (9)
And they disobeyed their Lord’s Messenger, so He seized them with a strong punishment. (10)
Verily! When the water rose beyond its limits [Nûh’s (Noah) Flood], We carried you (mankind) in the floating [ship that was constructed by Nûh (Noah)]. (11)
That We might make it a (Noah’s ship)an admonition for you, and that it might be retained by the retaining ears. (12)
Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one), (13)
And the earth and the mountains shall be removed from their places, and crushed with a single crushing. (14)
Then on that Day shall the (Great) Event befall. (15)
And the heaven will be rent asunder, for that Day it (the heaven) will be frail, and torn up. (16)
And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them. (17)
That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden. (18)
Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: “Here! read my Record! (19)
“Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!” (20)
So he shall be in a life, well-pleasing. (21)
    In a lofty Paradise, (22)
The fruits in bunches whereof will be low and near at hand. (23)
Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past! (24)

  4. Surah Al-Haaqqa
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.

But as for him who will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: “I wish that I had not been given my Record! (25)
“And that I had never known, how my Account is! (26)
“Would that it had been my end (death)! (27)
“My wealth has not availed me; (28)
“My power (and arguments to defend myself) have gone from me!” (29)
(It will be said): “Seize him and fetter him; (30)
Then throw him in the blazing Fire. (31)
“Then fasten him with a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits!” (32)
Verily, He used not to believe in Allâh, the Most Great, (33)
And urged not on the feeding of Al¬Miskîn (the poor),[] (34)
So no friend has he here this Day, (35)
Nor any food except filth from the washing of wounds, (36)
None will eat it except the Khâti’ûn (sinners, disbelievers, polytheists). (37)
So I swear by whatsoever you see, (38)
And by whatsoever you see not, (39)
That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibril (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allâh]. (40)
It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! (41)
Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! (42)
This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists). (43)

  5. Surah Al-Haaqqa
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.

And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allâh swt), (44)

We surely would have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), (45)

And then we certainly would have cut off his life artery (Aorta), (46)

And none of you could witheld Us from (punishing) him. (47)

And verily, this (Qur’ân) is a Reminder for the Muttaqûn (pious – see V.2:2) (48)

And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Qur’ân). (Tafsir At-Tabarî) (49)

And indeed it (this Qur’ân) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection).[] (50)

And Verily, it (this Qur’ân) is an absolute truth with certainty[] (51)

So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great.[] (52)

  6. SON-OF-MAN
What has this poor lady done to you, that every time she pens her heart content you bombard her with you extreme islam rubbish. I told you before and I will tell you again….Your Allah is a bulla and is deserving of a good pie job in public. Leave the lady alone, stop bulling her.

Allah/God has favoured some above others, and among mankind some are created for the Hell Fire, so be thankful for the favours of Allah. You will often hear the ignorant ingrate(one who does not thank Allah/God) curse the Blessed Rain that bring countless benefits to mankind. Allah teaches us that for the Grateful who reflect upon his signs/ayats in Creation are great lessons. From the Quran, which by Allah’s Mercy, you will grow in understanding.

    Surah Qaf

Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? (6)

And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, (7)

A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. (8)

And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, (9)

And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, (10)

Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. (11)

  8. /

GOD AND DOG are constructed from the same letters. Unfortunately, this is what happens when individuals tamper with the revealed Scriptures.

You will find the denizens of the Hell the worst ingrates of humanity. I ask you to be courageous and disobey the Slave Masters and Read the Final Revealed Scripture from Allah to Humanity. Here are just a few gems from the Scripture giving Light:

    Surah Fatir

Lo! the devil is an enemy for you, so treat him as an enemy. He only summoneth his faction to be owners of the flaming Fire. (6)
Those who disbelieve, theirs will be an awful doom; and those who believe and do good works, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward. (7)
Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan’s dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do! (8)
And Allah it is Who sendeth the winds and they raise a cloud; then We lead it unto a dead land and revive therewith the earth after its death. Such is the Resurrection. (9)
Whoso desireth power (should know that) all power belongeth to Allah. Unto Him good words ascend, and the pious deed doth He exalt; but those who plot iniquities, theirs will be an awful doom; and the plotting of such (folk) will come to naught. (10)
Allah created you from dust, then from a little fluid, then He made you pairs (the male and female). No female beareth or bringeth forth save with His knowledge. And no-one groweth old who groweth old, nor is aught lessened of his life, but it is recorded in a Book, Lo! that is easy for Allah. (11)
And the two seas are not alike: this, fresh, sweet, good to drink, this (other) bitter, salt. And from them both ye eat fresh meat and derive the ornament that ye wear. And thou seest the ship cleaving them with its prow that ye may seek of His bounty, and that haply ye may give thanks. (12)
He maketh the night to pass into the day and He maketh the day to pass into the night. He hath subdued the sun and moon to service. Each runneth unto an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Lord; His is the Sovereignty; and those unto whom ye pray instead of Him own not so much as the white spot on a date-stone. (13)
If ye pray unto them they hear not your prayer, and if they heard they could not grant it you. On the Day of Resurrection they will disown association with you. None can inform you like Him Who is Aware. (14)

  9. O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. (15)
If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. (16)
That is not a hard thing for Allah. (17)
And no burdened soul can bear another’s burden, and if one heavy laden crieth for (help with) his load, naught of it will be lifted even though he (unto whom he crieth) be of kin. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in secret, and have established worship. He who groweth (in goodness), groweth only for himself, (he cannot by his merit redeem others). Unto Allah is the journeying. (18)
The blind man is not equal with the seer; (19)
Nor is darkness (tantamount to) light; (20)
Nor is the shadow equal with the sun’s full heat; (21)
Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. (22)
Thou art but a warner. (23)
Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. (24)
And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. (25)
Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! (26)
Hast thou not seen that Allah causeth water to fall from the sky, and We produce therewith fruit of divers hues; and among the hills are streaks white and red, of divers hues, and (others) raven-black; (27)
And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, divers hues? The erudite among His bondmen fear Allah alone. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Forgiving. (28)

  10. Lo! those who read the Scripture of Allah, and establish worship, and spend of that which We have bestowed on them secretly and openly, they look forward to imperishable gain, (29)
That He will pay them their wages and increase them of His grace. Lo! He is Forgiving, Responsive. (30)
As for that which We inspire in thee of the Scripture, it is the Truth confirming that which was (revealed) before it. Lo! Allah is indeed Observer, Seer of His slaves. (31)
Then We gave the Scripture as inheritance unto those whom We elected of Our bondmen. But of them are some who wrong themselves and of them are some who are lukewarm, and of them are some who outstrip (others) through good deeds, by Allah’s leave. That is the great favour! (32)
Gardens of Eden! They enter them wearing armlets of gold and pearl and their raiment therein is silk. (33)
And they say: Praise be to Allah Who hath put grief away from us. Lo! Our Lord is Forgiving, Bountiful, (34)
Who, of His grace, hath installed us in the mansion of eternity, where toil toucheth us not nor can weariness affect us. (35)
But as for those who disbelieve, for them is fire of hell; it taketh not complete effect upon them so that they can die, nor is its torment lightened for them. Thus We punish every ingrate. (36)
And they cry for help there, (saying): Our Lord! Release us; we will do right, not (the wrong) that we used to do. Did not We grant you a life long enough for him who reflected to reflect therein? And the warner came unto you. Now taste (the flavour of your deeds), for evil-doers have no helper. (37)

  11. Lo! Allah is the Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. Lo! He is Aware of the secret of (men’s) breasts. (38)
He it is Who hath made you regents in the earth; so he who disbelieveth, his disbelief be on his own head. Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers, in their Lord’s sight, naught save abhorrence. Their disbelief increaseth for the disbelievers naught save loss. (39)
Say: Have ye seen your partner-gods to whom ye pray beside Allah? Show me what they created of the earth! Or have they any portion in the heavens? Or have We given them a scripture so they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the evil-doers promise one another only to deceive. (40)
Lo! Allah graspeth the heavens and the earth that they deviate not, and if they were to deviate there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving. (41)
And they swore by Allah, their most binding oath, that if a warner came unto them they would be more tractable than any of the nations; yet, when a warner came unto them it aroused in them naught save repugnance, (42)
(Shown in their) behaving arrogantly in the land and plotting evil; and the evil plot encloseth but the men who make it. Then, can they expect aught save the treatment of the folk of old? Thou wilt not find for Allah’s way of treatment any substitute, nor wilt thou find for Allah’s way of treatment aught of power to change. (43)
Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them, and they were mightier than these in power? Allah is not such that aught in the heavens or in the earth escapeth Him. Lo! He is the Wise, the Mighty. (44)
If Allah took mankind to task by that which they deserve, He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth; but He reprieveth them unto an appointed term, and when their term cometh – then verily (they will know that) Allah is ever Seer of His slaves. (45)
