Commercial House Dominoes Continues

FOLLOWING on the heels of the Commercial Basketball Tournament, the friendly rivalry continued on Tuesday evening in the Inter-Commercial House Domino Competition with two exciting matches played at the CT Clubhouse at Jeremie and Chisel Streets (formally the Singer building).

In Group A, Saint Lucia Fire Service amassed 72 points, defeating Beachcomber (67 points) and Sagicor General Insurance (64 points).

Top scorers were as follows: Fire Service – Kerwin Nelson (17 points), Beachcomber – Wilson Alcide (18 points) and Sagicor General Insurance – Jason Edwin (15 points).

In Group B, Windjammer racked up 80 points to defeat Peter and Company Distribution/Dewars (71 points) and the Ministry of Infrastructure (70 points).

Top scorers were as follows: Windjammer – Bernard George (18 points), Peter and Company Distribution-Dewars – Ed Mathurin (14 points) and Ministry of Infrastructure – Ashton Fedee (17 points).

Results for matches played on Monday, October 24 are as follows:
• In Group A, Sandals Halcyon (77 points) defeated St. Lucia Distillers (63 points) and Caribbean Metals (49 points). Top scorers were Sandals Halcyon’s Kurt Richard (17 points), St. Lucia Distillers’ Tony Polius and Andy Emmanuel (17 points each) and Caribbean Metals’ Kendell Jeremie (18 points).

• In Group B, Peter and Company Distribution/Smirnoff (73 points) defeated WASCO (also on 73 points) by virtue of scoring more sixes, and Windjammer (72 points). Top scorers were PCD/Smirnoff’s Steven Joseph (16 points), WASCO’s John Griffith (17 points) and Windjammer’s Bernard George (13 points).
