Civil Status Registry and Office of the Adjudicator being relocated

The public is advised that due to pressing occupational health and safety concerns which have been ongoing at the Civil Status Registry and the Adjudicator’s Office, there will be a relocation exercise as of Thursday, October 27, 2016.

The Registry of Civil Status and the Office of the Adjudicator will remain open to the public at its present location from Monday to Wednesday during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. of this week.

The public is asked to note the following:

On Thursday, October 27 and Friday October 28, 2016 the Offices of the Registrar of Civil Status and the Adjudicator’s Office will be closed. The offices will also remain closed on Monday, October 31, 2016. This closure is to facilitate the staff’s relocation to the new office space.

Please note that the new address of the Civil Status Registry and Adjudicator’s Office is on Upper Micoud Street, Castries (upstairs the Mango store or the building directly opposite the Access store).

Services of collection and new applications will resume on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 and full services will be in place as of Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the new location.
Thereafter, no further transactions by the Registrar of Civil Status or the Adjudicator’s Office shall be conducted at the Brazil Street Building.

The government departments concerned deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused to the public.
