THE EDITOR:
What is it about the St Lucia Labour Party that they ever so often seem incapable of accepting defeat in the ballot box.
It’s almost as if these people believe that they have a perpetual right to rule St Lucia which no one should deprive them of.
Labour’s every tenure of power has been characterized by rampant corruption (only no one calls it by that name), favouritism and victimization. This is what the voters repay them for in the ballot box.
I for one, am happy to see the back of this sorry bunch. It was time that we changed the diet and tried something new. I doubt very much if there could be a government as bad as the one we just voted out of office.
