Veterans Resumes With Quarter Finals

AFTER the break for the festive season the 2015 – 2016 Veterans Football Tournament being organized by Veterans in Sports Inc and Blackheart Productions continues this weekend.

The showpiece will resume with the playing of matches in the quarter finals of the plate competition on Saturday and Sunday at the newly refurbished La Ressource Playing Field in Mabouya Valley.

The matches scheduled to be played are as follows. On Saturday, from 6:00 p.m. Behind the College All Stars takes on Nyah, while Laborie Veterans plays Dennery All Blacks at 8:00 p.m.

On Sunday , from 5:00 p.m. Prophets and Kings verus Micoud Veterans and at 7:00 p.m. Valley Legends will play an opponent to be announced.

The Quarter Finals of the tournament proper for the Caribbean Alliance Gold cup will be held on Saturday January 16 and Sunday January 17 at the Soufriere Mini Stadium.
