As the demand for exotic wedding and honeymoon spots continues to grow, Saint Lucia continues to be one of the most-sought-after destinations for such occasions.
The past weekend was an eventful one for the Saint Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB) as they hosted the third annual Love Elevated Wedding Symposium. From Wednesday to Sunday, various events were organized to showcase the many services the island offers for that perfect wedding and honeymoon package.
An official welcome reception, seminar working sessions, wedding marketplace and a mock wedding were the highlights of this year’s edition of the Love Elevated Wedding Symposium, most of which were held at the Johnsons Centre in Rodney Bay.
Over the years, Saint Lucia has won a number of major awards as a wedding and honeymoon destination. And with over 60 international travel agents networking with 35 local suppliers over a five-day period, one can well imagine the huge spinoffs down the road that can lead couples to taking a walk down the aisle on this beautiful, tropical isle.
