THREE Correctional Officers from the Bordelais Correctional Facility have benefitted from training opportunities in the United States of America this month.
The three training recipients are Intelligence Officer Nigel Monroseand Correctional Officer 3 Sanjay Paul who earlier this month pursued training in Correctional Management and Leadership from November 3 ā 14.
Correctional Officer Lee Willie accompanied by Nigel Monrose is participating in training in the area of Prison Gang Intelligence from November 17 ā 21.
The courses will be conducted at the International Corrections Management Training Center (ICMTC) in Colorado Springs, CO (USA). The courses are sponsored and fully funded by the United States Government under the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI).
